By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, which govern your relationship with the portal and its community. This agreement outlines your rights, responsibilities, and expected standards of behaviour. Whether you are seeking resources, offering support, or participating in discussions, we are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all.
The terms “Carers Hub”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refer to the platform owned and operated by Home Nursing Foundation (HNF). The terms “you” or “your” refer to users of the portal.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Carers Hub, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the portal.
2. Eligibility
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to register for and use the portal.
2.2 By using the Portal, you represent that you comply with all applicable laws and, if you are a service provider, that you hold the necessary certifications and licences required to offer your services.
3. User Account Responsibilities
3.1 You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
4. Use of Services
4.1 You agree to use the portal only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
4.2 The portal provides access to caregiver profiles, service listings, educational resources, event listings, community forums, and marketplace.
5. User Conduct
You must not:
5.1 post or share content that is abusive, sexual, defamatory, discriminatory, unsafe, unlawful, or harmful.
5.2 impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or qualifications.
5.3 promote unsafe, illegal, or unverified medical practices.
5.4 promote unsolicited advice, services, or commercial activities.
6. Intellectual Property
Carers Hub and all of its contents, features, functionality (including but not limited to all information, articles, downloads, text, displays, images, video and audio, design, selection and arrangement thereof), are owned by Home Nursing Foundation (HNF) or the respective content owners or providers of such material and are protected by Singapore and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
7. Content and Listings
7.1 All item listings on Marketplace (to the best of your knowledge) and user profiles must be truthful and accurate.
7.2 Carers Hub reserves the right to edit or remove content that violates these terms or community guidelines.
7.3 All content, including images, videos, audios, and/or information provided to or available to you through this portal are the property of Carers Hub and/or its respective owners.
8. External Links to other Websites and Third-Party Content
8.1 Carers Hub may contain links to other websites and resources provided by third parties, such links are provided for your information only. We are not responsible and have no control over any opinions, inappropriate, offensive, obscene, unlawful content you may come across when visiting a third-party website.
8.2 We shall not be liable for any loss or damages arising from your access to those websites. It is entirely at your own risk when you access those websites.
9. Copyright Infringement Claims
9.1 If you believe that your copyrighted work, trademark, or other intellectual property has been used on Carers Hub without your permission (“Infringement”), you may submit a written notice to us with details of the suspected Infringement.
9.2 Carers Hub will review all such reports and take appropriate action. Before taking any legal action against Carers Hub regarding any allegedly infringing content (“Infringing Material”), you agree to first notify us in writing and give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remove the Infringing Material if necessary.
9.3 If Carers Hub removes the Infringing Material, you agree not to pursue any claim against Carers Hub relating to the presence of that content prior to its removal.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Home Nursing Foundation (HNF), Carers Hub and any of its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners and licensors harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable lawyers’ fees, due to or arising out of your: (a) use of Carers Hub; (b) violation of these Terms of Use or any law or regulation; or (c) violation of any right of a third party.
11. Disclaimers
11.1 Carers Hub provides general information, resources, and user-generated content for caregivers and families. The information on this portal—whether in the form of articles, videos, images, posts, or any other materials—is intended for general informational purposes only. It is not professional medical, legal, or other professional advice, and should not be used for diagnosing or treating any medical or health condition. You are responsible for verifying the information provided and for seeking advice from qualified professionals based on your specific circumstances.
11.2 Information on Carers Hub may not always be exhaustive, complete, accurate, or up-to-date. All content is provided “as is” and “as available”, and your reliance on any information, services, listings, or interactions on the portal is at your own risk. Carers Hub does not endorse, sponsor, or guarantee the quality, safety, suitability, or professional qualifications of any user, partner, or service listed on the portal.
11.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carers Hub and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the portal or any content on it. 12.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home Nursing Foundation (HNF) is not liable for any losses, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to your use of Carers Hub. This includes, but is not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages; loss of data, revenue, profits, business opportunities, privacy, or property; or losses arising from viruses, malware, or harmful components.
12.1.1 You are responsible for implementing your own data backups, security measures, and virus protection. Any content you download or access through Carers Hub is at your own risk.
13. Privacy and Data Use

14. Suspension and Termination
14.1 Carers Hub reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms at any time
14.2 You may deactivate your account at any time through your profile settings
14.3 If you would like to reactivate your account or make an appeal for suspension or termination of your account, you may write to us. We will review your request and approve on a case-by-case basis.
15. Updates
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. The updated version of these Terms of Use will take effect immediately and will supersede all earlier versions. By continuing to use the portal, you agree to acceptance of the revised terms.
16. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will be interpreted to achieve its intended purpose as closely as possible. The remaining provisions remain in full force.
These Terms, together with the Carers Hub Privacy Policy and any legal notices issued by HNF, form the entire agreement between you and HNF regarding your use of Carers Hub.
17. Waiver
If HNF does not enforce any part of these Terms, this does not constitute a waiver of our rights. A waiver is only valid if in writing and signed by an authorised representative of HNF. No delay or partial exercise of rights prevents further enforcement.
18. Dispute Resolution
Home Nursing Foundation (HNF) and you (“the Parties”) will first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith discussions.
If the issue is not resolved within thirty (30) days, either Party may require the matter to be referred to mediation at the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) under SMC’s prevailing procedures. Each Party must be represented by senior personnel with authority to negotiate and settle the matter. Mediation will take place in Singapore in English. Any settlement reached will be binding.
If mediation fails, the dispute will be submitted to the courts of Singapore, which will have exclusive jurisdiction.
